FibreHeart Wool Sculpting Studio is an art studio that creates One of a kind and Custom pet and animal portraits. I use a technique called Needle Felting. It is a rather involved process that takes unspun wool and a special barbed needle and while poking the wool over and over, it condenses in to a big knot. As the wool knot gets tighter and tighter, I can sculpt the wool into the beautiful sculptures you see here.
I use many, many types of materials from your common sheep wool to more finer fibres like Angora rabbit, cashmere goat and even Bamboo plant.
I cater to all walks of life and welcome any custom challenge anyone has out there. I will try hard to felt a critter no matter how difficult.
I use pictures or descriptions provided by you. I can also find the information myself. I never copy anything. I only reference information, but all sculptures are original art.
I have been crafting for pretty much my whole life. I have a passion for it and try to express that passion in every piece. Each piece is made with extra special care and attention to detail. No matter how simple or small.
I have made all sizes from 3/4″ to life-size. Keep checking back for new additions. All sculptures listed are up for adoption to a new home. You will see the prices next to their photos. Additional photos are available. Any that are adopted already will be labelled for a short time and then removed.
